500g chicken breasts (cut into medium-sized chunks)
1 tbsp vinegar
4 cloves of crushed garlic
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp chillie powder
1/2 inch piece of ginger (crushed)
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp cardamom seeds
1.5 tbsp chopped tomato
1/2 cup plain yoghurt or curd
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp salt
- Mix the chicken with the rest of the ingredients and allow to marinate in the fridge overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Place the chicken on the grill and bake for 20 minutes. You can choose to cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks and insert them through skewers.
- Turn the chunks over on the grill and bake for another 20 minutes or until it starts to char.
