1 green chilli
1 small onion
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp tomato paste
Salt to taste
1 tsp. sugar
Cumin powder/oregano/tandoori masala
- Blend the tomatoes, capsicum, green chili, small onion and grated carrot together until smooth.
- Heat oil and then add a bit of garlic paste and tomato paste. Allow to cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the blended mixture and simmer.
- Add salt, sugar, oregano. Allow to simmer until thick and water has evaporated.
This sauce can be used in pasta dishes or as pizza sauce.
