Battered Chicken

Battered Chicken

Chicken fillet
ginger/garlic paste
lemon juice


Cut the slices into average sized pieces. Marinate the chicken pieces in the above ingredients for a few hours.

Whip 1-2 eggs with a touch of salt and 1 tsp. milk, set aside.

Mix half cup of plain flour, seasoned with salt and pepper powder, set aside.

Heat about 2-3 inches of oil in a pan.

Now take one piece of fillet at a time, dip it in the egg on both sides followed by the flour. Make sure the flour coats the pieces completely. Then fry on medium to low heat on both sides for about 7-10 minutes approximately, or until the pieces are done on the inside and brown and crisp on the outside. Drain on kitchen tissues and serve with fries or whatever you like.
