240gms Butter (room temperature)
160gms Crushed Cornflakes
80gms (Quaker) Oats
80gms All-purpose Flour
40gms Corn Flour
1/2 Cup Milk Powder
1 Cup Fine Sugar
120gms Diced Cashew Nuts
1/2 Cup Diced Almonds
Some Vanilla Essence/Flavor
Beat the butter with sugar until light and fluffy, then add milk powder and beat again. Add in the egg and beat until thoroughly mixed and fluffy.
Once mixed, add the cornflakes, all-purpose flour and corn flour. Mix until even then add the almonds, cashews and oats. Stir until the mixture is thorough and all ingredients are evenly mixed.
Take a spoonful of the mixture and place on a greased baking tray. Repeat for the entire mixture and decorate with sliced almonds (or chocolate chips).
Bake until done – should be at about 160-180 degrees. Depends on your oven!
