Chilli flakes or chilli paste
Salt (if necessary)
Clean and cut squid into rings or diamonds.
Marinate with soya sauce and pepper.
Heat oil and fry ginger and garlic paste.
Add the squid and stir for a few seconds.
Add chilli flakes or chilli paste, sugar, soya sauce, and tomato sauce and stir.
Lastly add diced onions, tomatoes, and capsicum.
Check salt and adjust accordingly.
To have gravy, dissolve cornflour in water, add to the mix, and heat.
